Dior Rodriguez a talented and visionary director created a beautiful short film and a fitting tribute to Paul Thompson Jr. and his legacy as a sailor. The tribute coincided with Fathers Day and what would have been Paul Thompson Jr.’s 83rd birthday.

“Walmart has been elevating and extending our stories of legacy and the sponsorship matters,” said Paul. “Legacy of the Sea” premiered to a packed house at the American Film Festival (#americanblackfilmfestival) in Miami. The Thompsons were truly humbled to be selected and contribute to the conversion on legacy and black fatherhood.
